1. General principle
Venue hire booked through Meetora is a dated event service. Statutory withdrawal rights and platform cancellation tiers are assessed together under applicable consumer and distance-contract rules.
Outcomes depend on booking status (pending, confirmed, paid, completed), whether funds are still held in escrow, and time remaining before the event start.
Meetora is not a mediator in disputes between users and venues but provides payment infrastructure and operational support.
2. User cancellation (platform tiers)
Full refund: cancellations at least 14 days before the event receive a 100% refund of the amount paid (including service fee).
Partial refund: cancellations 7–13 days before the event receive a 50% refund.
No refund: user cancellations less than 7 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.
Venue- or platform-initiated cancellations (admin) receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Refunds are processed while funds are still held in escrow; bank posting times may vary.
3. Venue cancellation
If a venue cancels or cannot deliver the service, we aim to refund the amount paid or offer an alternative date.
Refund timing depends on the payment method and banking processes.
4. Refund requests
Submit refund requests from your account bookings or via Support / Contact.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method per payment-provider rules.
